CrossFit Untapped Workout of the Day

The CrossFit mentality is “any challenge, any day”. In that spirit, the Workout of the Day, or WOD, is posted each night at 8pm for the following day without anyone knowing what the workout will be. This constantly-varied approach to fitness keeps workouts exciting and thrilling.

I used to be a runner who trained for half-marathons and marathons, but after chronic injuries I realized running wasn’t best for my body. I came to CrossFit Untapped a little intimated about the sport but ready to try something new. The community at CrossFit Untapped welcomed me immediately and continue to support and encourage me every day. I look forward to my daily workouts there because I know going to the gym will almost always put me in a better mood. I went from running part time and going to CrossFit part time to now going to CrossFit 4 to 5 times per week. It’s amazing to see how my body has transformed in the last year with this consistent schedule. When I was a full-time runner, I was tired, weak and injured often. Now, I have much more energy plus a big group of friends who are always there to support me in my workouts and personal life, too. I hike every weekend and CrossFit has given me the endurance to regularly do longer hikes without fatigue. It’s also given me more confidence in my abilities. I see myself doing this sport for life!
